Job Description

1. Prepare and cook authentic tandoori dishes including tandoori chicken, lamb, kebabs, naan breads, and other items using a traditional tandoor oven.

2. Assist in the creation and planning of tandoori sections of the menu, ensuring variety, authenticity, and innovation.

3. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency.

4. Maintain stock levels and assist in the ordering and management of inventory specific to the tandoori section.

5. Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in tandoori cooking techniques where required.

6. Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards at all times.

7. Monitor food preparation and portion sizes to reduce waste and ensure cost-effectiveness.

8. Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to coordinate the timely delivery of dishes during service.

9. Keep the tandoor area clean, safe, and organized at all times.
