Tasks
- Manage kitchen members and chefs with all food service operations and day-to- day kitchen operations, as well as supervise workers.
- Choose the variety and quality of meals and beverages to be served during business hours.
- Discuss the needs of the customer for special requirements .
- Check the quality of the meals and beverages supplied at the establishment.
- To avoid excessive product consumption or waste, ensure that supplies are appropriately used and accounted for.
- Maintain recipe books with current menu items, portions, and ingredients.
- Anticipate, identify, and correct any inventory, system, or staffing concerns.
- Ensure that all kitchen personnel attend meetings and follow the hygiene regulations.
- Discuss with chefs how to improve food quality and refresh the menu with new dishes.
